Spring Photography Inspiration

Spring seems to be bursting into life with each passing day; lambs are chasing their mothers around the fields, the trees are covered in beautiful magnolia and blossom in varying shades of pink and purple and the evenings are starting to pull out. Along with Autumn, Spring is one of my favourite times of the year to shoot, I absolutely adore the soft hazy light at either end of the day.

A few days ago I had the absolute pleasure of catching up with Natalia of Clear Desk VA for a Personal Branding Session. After taking some more formal images within her work space, we decided to head outside to get some more relaxed looking headshots, giving Natalia the flexibility to mix things up a bit. I’m so glad that we dodged the heavy showers as I managed to snap this gorgeous image!

Capturing the image

The photo was taken using my Fujifilm X-T2 with the 50-140mm lens, shot at f/2.8.

Whilst we were wandering back to Natalia’s house, I spotted the most gorgeous Wisteria covering the side of a garage wall. I just knew that we needed to try and utilise it and with some careful positioning, this was the end result!
