Birthday Celebrations | Longleat, Wiltshire

Our little lady turned 3 at the beginning of December, I know people say it all the time but I really don't know where the time has gone!

I thought I'd share a few photos from our day of celebrations . . .

A very excited little lady came bounding into our bedroom at approx 06:45, squealing with excitement, followed by an over enthusiastic dog who likes to get just as involved!

The first present was opened within seconds, a Doctors medical kit, no time for mummy and daddy to drink their coffees, we were promptly sent to the waiting room for the Doctor to call us in!

After a lazy morning in our pyjamas and enjoying pain au chocolate for breakfast (the birthday girl's choice), we got ready to head off to Longleat to enjoy the Festival of Light.

Some of the Beatrix Potter characters have joined Longleat this year to celebrate the Safari Park's 50th Anniversary, so we were looking forward to seeing these new additions to years previous.

We got there for just after 15:00 and spent a good four hours enjoying all that there was to offer, including the Beatrix Potter exhibition in the house. Then as dusk fell, the Festival of Light came alive and it did not disappoint . . .

Someone had their new camera with them! I think out of the 200+ photos she took, there may be the odd 'keeper'!

We got home just after 20:00 and although we were all shattered, there was one more important thing to do - the cake!

Happy 3rd Birthday to our Rainbow Dash loving little lady!
